We will be celebrating a service of anointing for the elderly and infirm of our parish. Arrangements have been made for our housebound to travel to church. Anyone who would wish to receive the Sacrament is welcome at this service. Refreshments will be provided by the SVP in the hall afterwards.
There will be a variety of Christmas baked goods for sale. Young people (of all ages) come and have a go at cookie decorating; all you need is suitable clothing and an adult supervisor.
A service of carols followed by coffee and minced-pies. Children are most welcome, and encouraged to dress up as angels, shepherds or wise men.
You are welcome, on Christmas Eve, to come and visit the Convent at St Joseph’s, Shirebrook for coffee. On this day, the Sisters celebrate the founding of the Presentation Congregation.

This Annual Diocesan Mass to celebrate the gift of Christian marriage, is where married couples are able to renew their vows before the bishop, and receive his blessing on their Marriages. This year, it will take place on Sunday 10th February, 3pm at St Barnabas Cathedral. This Mass is open to all married couples, but is especially appropriate to those recently married, or celebrating a significant anniversary.
